Non-Profit Organisations

My upbringing in Indonesia— an archipelago with 26 million Indonesians living under the poverty line—

ignited my passion for social change. This humanitarian journey started in 2017 by founding Cases 4 Care Indonesia and later Wanita Bisa in 2022.

"Cases 4 Care Indonesia"

In 2017, at the age of 11, I founded Cases 4 Care Indonesia, a student-led organization that furnished five multipurpose schools-libraries for underprivileged children living in Bantar Gebang. Bantar Gebang is South East Asia’s largest landfill site, just an hour from my home. Two hundred acres wide, it houses 29 million tonnes of trash and is where 7000 undocumented work-migrant children live: an evident humanitarian crisis. Without birth certificates, these children are barred from access to free public education and thus rely on the informal education that Cases 4 Care has provided.

"Wanita Bisa"

To understand more about factors of economic mobility, I founded Wanita Bisa— a nonprofit designed during my summer school classes at Columbia Univeristy-SIPA— hosting certified-vocational training and financial literacy workshops for underprivileged women.

Including local women in Jakarta & Tangerang living in squatter settlements and Afghanistan refugees in the Refugee Learning Center.
